Basketball Game Preview: North Fork Miners vs. Roaring Fork Rams

North Fork and Roaring Fork are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The North Fork Miners are taking a road trip to face off against the Roaring Fork Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

North Fork is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since January 26, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Rangely 65-33. The Miners were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

Meanwhile, Roaring Fork put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 75-16 win over Basalt. That looming 75-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.

Roaring Fork's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for North Fork, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

North Fork lost to Roaring Fork on the road by a decisive 56-38 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can North Fork avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
