Softball Recap: Pickerington Central Has No Trouble Against Buckeye Valley

Pickerington Central won the last time they faced Buckeye Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Barons with a sharp 11-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Samara Williams looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Pickerington Central let Natalya Lim and Jenna Robinson run wild. Lim went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Robinson went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave Lim a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Barnett, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Pickerington Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .515. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Pickerington Central back to even at 2-2. As for Buckeye Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
