Baseball Game Preview: Jal Panthers vs. Loving Falcons

Jal is 0-10 against Loving since April of 2023 but things could change on Saturday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Falcons at 11:00 a.m. Jal has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jal is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Tuesday. They lost 14-1 to Eunice. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jal saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zadyn Lujan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Loving and Texico meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 14-10 to the Wolverines.

Loving's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Jal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Jal suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Loving when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
