It was a good run, but Heston Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell to the Oscoda Owls 58-52. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 37-35.

Heston Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Oscoda, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Heston Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oscoda, they will be playing at home against Alcona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alcona knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Oscoda likes a good challenge.
