Softball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Comes Up Short

The L.E.A.D. Academy Lions came up short against the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays on Tuesday, falling 28-8.

L.E.A.D. Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L.E.A.D. Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocky Bayou Christian at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pensacola has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.33 runs per game on average), something Lighthouse Private Christian Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
