Palmer has gone a perfect 10-0 against Widefield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Terrors will host the Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. Palmer will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Mesa Ridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Palmer, they should've done a better job of containing Hailey Tong. The Terrors came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Tong, who had 25 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.
Palmer was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 29-27, 25-13.
Meanwhile, Widefield came up short against Coronado on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Widefield ultimately came up short, they really made Coronado work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26, 25-23.
Despite the loss, Widefield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Leila Brown had 14 assists and eight digs. Brown has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last nine times she's played.
Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Widefield, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 11-5.
Everything went Palmer's way against Widefield when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Palmer made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Terrors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gladiators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
