Military Magnet Academy entered their tilt with Camden on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They secured a 54-50 W over the Camden Bulldogs. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 67-39 loss the last time these two teams met.

Military Magnet Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dream Watson, who went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jada Davis, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Military Magnet Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Camden only racked up eight assists.

Camden lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Shanaryah Wright, who earned eight points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian Rush, who had 12 points and six boards.

Military Magnet Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Camden, they moved to 10-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Military Magnet Academy will head out to square off against Lowcountry Leadership at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Military Magnet Academy is facing Lowcountry Leadership at the right time seeing as Lowcountry Leadership is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Camden, they will venture away from home to take on A.C. Flora at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in A.C. Flora's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
