Football Recap: Starmount Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mount Airy + How To Watch

Starmount had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 21-6 to the Mount Airy Granite Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Granite Bears: they've now lost seven in a row.

Deuce Best threw for 95 yards on only seven passes. Cole Freed was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.

Starmount will square off against East Surry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Airy, they will face off against East Wilkes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
