Football Recap: Nolensville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Nolensville was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Overton last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights were outmatched by the Blackman Blaze and fell 41-7. Despite 62 more yards than the Blaze, the Knights couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Ryan Newell threw for 91 yards on seven of 13 attempts. On the ground, Tristen Lithmexay rushed for 56 yards.

Jaevion Elliott looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 34 yards and one TD, while also picking up 39 receiving yards.

Nolensville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Blackman, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Nolensville will venture away from home to square off against Tullahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blackman, they will host LaVergne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blaze will be up against the Wolverines' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
