Recap: Glenelg vs. Long Reach
Glenelg might be getting used to good results now that the squad have seven wins in a row. They were the clear victor by a 49-19 margin over Long Reach. Fans of Glenelg have seen this all before: every one of Glenelg's games this year has ended as a stomp.
After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Glenelg offense stepped up its game and put 14 points on the board in the second quarter. Long Reach countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 14-7 going into the half. Glenelg's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Glenelg will stay at home next week against River Hill at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Long Reach will look to defend their home turf against Mt. Hebron at 1:00 PM.
