Softball Recap: Holton Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Holton and Beal City pushed the score to 12-9 the last time they played Beal City, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Red Devils fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Holton's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Beal City, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Holton has already played their next contest (against Bridgman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Beal City will be paying especially close attention to the Red Devils' game: after the Red Devils face off against Hillman, they'll take on Beal City again at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
