Recap: Brownstown Bombers vs. Maryville Christian Lions
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Brownstown Bombers walked away with it. They blew past the Lions 60-15 on the road on Monday. Brownstown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Brownstown was led to victory by Dayana Haslett and Lexi Seabaugh. Haslett scored 13 points, while Seabaugh scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Ramsey, who scored eight points.
Brownstown has been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 21 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. As for Maryville Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season.
Brownstown will take on Father McGivney Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brownstown has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 241 points over their last four contests. Maryville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
