Friday just wasn't the day for Hillcrest's offense. They were beaten by the Rolla Bulldogs 48-0 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rolla, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Hillcrest will venture away from home to take on West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Hornets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Rolla, they will host Miller Career Academy/Vashon/Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
