Volleyball Recap: Kyra Ervin and Charlotte Narewski Secure Win for Northview

Northview proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Lake Flyers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 24, 2024.

Northview was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 20-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Northview was led to victory by Charlotte Narewski and Kyra Ervin. Narewski had eight digs and three aces, while Ervin had 15 digs and four assists. Those 15 digs gave Ervin a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Lake lost, don't look at Kortney Rollins. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces.

The win got Northview back to even at 2-2. As for Lake, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will face off against Whitmer at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake, they will square off against Fostoria at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Flyers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
