Soccer Game Preview: Elk Lake vs. Forest City

The Elk Lake Warriors will challenge the Forest City Foresters at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Things were looking good for Elk Lake after they put the first goal on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Holy Cross by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Forest City came up short against Western Wayne on Saturday, falling 10-2. Forest City haven't had much luck with Western Wayne recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Forest City's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Elk Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Everything went Elk Lake's way against Forest City in their previous matchup on September 4th, as Elk Lake made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Foresters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
