With a playoff win on the line, Jefferson rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over the Hedgesville Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jefferson's record now sits at 11-9. As for Hedgesville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Jefferson Cougars duke it out with Spring Mills Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will need to watch out since Spring Mills has now posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches. Hedgesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
