Basketball Game Preview: Columbus Discoverers vs. Lincoln High Links

The Columbus Discoverers will square off against the Lincoln High Links at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbus is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Columbus is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Millard North on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Columbus was outmatched by Millard North and fell 84-31. The game marked the Discoverers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln High earned a 67-55 victory over Omaha South on Tuesday.

Lincoln High's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Columbus came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln High in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 66-63. Does Columbus have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincoln High turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
