Soccer Recap: Upper Merion Area Comes Up Short

Upper Merion Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Phoenixville Phantoms. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Phoenixville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Upper Merion Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Phoenixville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Upper Merion Area is set to face off against their familiar foe Pottstown at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Phoenixville will take on rival Upper Perkiomen at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
