Baseball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Comes Up Short

Belton-Honea Path fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Christ Church Episcopal on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 8-7. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Rhett Turner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Belton-Honea Path's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-1 (and 10-15 when he doesn't).
