Baseball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Oxbridge Academy's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Suncoast Chargers on Wednesday. The ThunderWolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Oxbridge Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Donahue, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Donahue's first of the season.

Oxbridge Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Suncoast, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy will square off against Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Suncoast, they are taking a road trip to face off against Royal Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Suncoast is facing Royal Palm Beach at the right time seeing as Royal Palm Beach is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
