Tupelo is 6-1 against Lewisburg since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tupelo Golden Wave will take on the Lewisburg Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tupelo's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Pontotoc as Tupelo made off with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Golden Wave, who have now won nine matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lewisburg waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Jaguars 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Patriots were the better team in the second half.

Lucy Jasick and Harlee Hensley scored both of Lewisburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Tupelo's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five games. As for Lewisburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Tupelo came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewisburg in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tupelo since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
