Recap: Mannford Pirates vs. Berryhill Chiefs
The Mannford Pirates were the 70-40 winner over the Berryhill Chiefs when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Mannford fell just short of Berryhill by a score of 48-46. Mannford just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Ethan Meza continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Berryhill, scoring 13 points along with five steals. Brydan Palmer was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Mannford has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Berryhill, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.
Mannford will head out on the road to square off against Berryhill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Berryhill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday. As for they, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mannford at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Mannford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
