Baseball Game Preview: Troy Christian Eagles vs. Botkins Trojans

The Troy Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Botkins Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Troy Christian is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 15-8 to Tri-County North.

Grady Stillwell put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Stillwell was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Marcus O'Neal made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Meanwhile, Botkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Houston.

Hudson Meyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Troy Christian's record now sits at 13-7. As for Botkins, their record is now 9-12.
