Volleyball Recap: The Leffell School Comes Up Short

The Leffell School lost against Haldane back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-2.

The Leffell School started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 22-25, 25-20, 25-16, 17-15.

The Leffell School's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Haldane, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

The Leffell School will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Salem at 5:00 p.m. on October 9. As for Haldane, they will be taking part in a tournament against Walter Panas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
