Baseball Game Preview: Ferris Saxons vs. University Titans

Ferris is 2-8 against University since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Ferris will venture away from home to square off against University at 4:00 p.m.

Ferris is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They lost 14-3 to Hermiston.

Ferris saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Wright, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, University gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Kamiakin 4-3.

The win got University back to even at 1-1. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Ferris skirted past University 4-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ferris since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
