It's playoff time, and Talihina had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Vian Wolverines on Saturday as the Talihina Golden Tigers made off with a 67-44 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Golden Tigers have posted since January 20th.

Talihina got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landen Griffith out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Bryant, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Talihina's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Vian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Coming up, Talihina will be playing in front of their home fans against Pocola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Pocola's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. Vian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
