Volleyball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Regis Ramblers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-16.

Thorp's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Regis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thorp will take on rival Fall Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Regis is set to square off against their familiar foe Stanley-Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
