The Jefferson County Tigers will be playing at home against the Godby Cougars at 6:00  p.m. Jefferson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.

  Levarius McClure Ii made a big impact no matter where he played. He  pitched three innings while giving up just two earned  (and four unearned) runs off   three  hits. McClure Ii was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Scott was a standout: he scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.  Aidan Hodges was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Godby, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record  this season.
