Football Recap: Parkland Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Parkland won the last time they faced Northampton and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans walked away with a 38-27 win over the Konkrete Kids. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly 11 points.

Parkland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nassim Adams, who picked up 103 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Adams got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Lawrence, who rushed for 50 yards and two TDs.

The victory was the third in a row for Parkland, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.3 points on average this season. As for Northampton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkland will host Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton, they will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Konkrete Kids their first taste of in-conference action this season.
