            Football Recap: Uintah Utes vs. Park City Miners        
        
		
        
        
            Uintah extended their losing streak  to six  on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-9. They were dealt  a  42-0 loss at the hands of the Park City Miners. The shutout was out of character for the Utes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in September.
 Even if they lost, Uintah's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Park City's QB  won't forget  Lukas Turner anytime soon given he sacked him three times.  Brody Chivers was another major factor on D,  making 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
As for Park City, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.12 yards per carry in those games compared to only 2.82 in the others.
 It was another big night for  Eli Warner, who picked up 131 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and one  TD. What's more,  he posted two  receiving touchdowns, the most he's  had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Josh Hofer, who threw for 175 yards and two  touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.
 Uintah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  54-7  defeat against Mountain Crest on the 24th. As for Park City, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sky View at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 31st. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 830 yards in their previous games.
