Basketball Recap: Mount De Sales Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jackson Rowley and Abner Livingston

Mount de Sales Academy suffered their closest defeat since January 14th on Friday. They fell just short of the John Milledge Academy Trojans by a score of 50-47. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Mount de Sales Academy had strong showings from Abner Livingston, who went 5 for 11 en route to 11 points, and Jackson Rowley, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

It was another big night for Isaiah Johnson, who posted 25 points along with four steals and three blocks for John Milledge Academy. That makes it five consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of John Milledge Academy's points. Brayden Faulkner was another key player, putting up four points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Mount de Sales Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for John Milledge Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.
