Softball Recap: Hockinson Comes Up Short

If Hockinson was riding high fresh off their 45-7 takedown of Hudson's Bay on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks lost 19-2 to the La Center Wildcats on Friday.

Hockinson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Renee Waddle, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Hockinson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for La Center, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

As of now, neither Hockinson nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
