Mineral Point won the last time they faced Southwestern and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mineral Point Pointers blew past the Southwestern Wildcats, posting a 70-29 victory. The Pointers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Mineral Point pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Southwestern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mineral Point will face off against Belmont at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Belmont's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Southwestern, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cuba City at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
