Baseball Recap: Marion Harding Comes Up Short

Marion Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Presidents, who until this match were averaging 3.93 runs allowed.

Rau Scott-Harbolt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Marion Harding is 5-1 when Scott-Harbolt posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Keller, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.
