Softball Recap: Glendale Extends Winning Streak to Two

19 must be Glendale's lucky number: they beat Bandon/Pacific with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Pirates beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 19-7. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Glendale and bumps their season record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Bandon/Pacific, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Glendale has already played their next game (against Prospect), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bandon/Pacific, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Oakland on the 29th.
