Basketball Recap: Hillsborough Comes Up Short

After flying high against Notre Dame last Thursday, Hillsborough came back down to earth. The Hillsborough Raiders fell 51-42 to The Pingry School Big Blue on Saturday. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Aaron Feath, Brandin Knight Jr., and Jack Toth posted six points each.

Hillsborough's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for The Pingry School, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will challenge Bernards at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsborough is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. As for The Pingry School, they will take on Summit at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
