Volleyball Recap: Owen Rollinson Key Part of Team Effort in Indians Win

Hononegah won the last time they faced Yorkville and things went their way on Saturday too. Hononegah came out on top against Yorkville by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hononegah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Rollinson, who had four digs and two aces. What's more, Rollinson posted two kills, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Jack Allen was another key player, getting eight digs, five kills, and one block.

Hononegah's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Yorkville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Hononegah has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Oak Park-River Forest on the 29th. As for Yorkville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Marmion on the 29th.
