Basketball Recap: Clear Creek Takes a Loss

Clear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 64-48 fall against the Clear Brook Wolverines. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Wolverines are ranked 197th).

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Clear Brook, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Clear Creek and Pasadena Memorial will round out the year against one another at on Friday. As for Clear Brook, they will be taking part in a tournament against The Woodlands at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
