Jenison faced Forest Hills Northern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Huskies two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Karis Chatfield paced Jenison's offense, picking up 12 kills. Chatfield got some help from Cora Rotman and her ten assists.

Jenison is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Forest Hills Northern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Jenison is taking a road trip to square off against Reeths-Puffer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
