Highland has gone 8-2 against Copley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will square off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Highland is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Highland came out on top against Hudson on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Hornets took their contest against the Explorers 9-4.

Cooper Richnafsky looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Anthony DePompei, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Grady Gibb was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Copley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over Firestone on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Highland's record now sits at 12-2-1. As for Copley, their record is now 5-12.

Highland was able to grind out a solid victory over Copley in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
