After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Grace Academy, Lee Park Prep was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the North Hills Christian Eagles as Lee Park Prep made off with  a  13-2 win. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Brody Adams made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Adams was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Isaiah Carpenter was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  James Steele, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Lee Park Prep  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .622. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
Lee Park Prep's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for North Hills Christian, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Looking ahead, Lee Park Prep will take on Alexander Christian Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for North Hills Christian, they will face off against Gray Stone Day at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
