Baseball Recap: Bayshore Comes Up Short

Bayshore couldn't beat Bradenton Christian on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the second inning. The Bruins came up short against the Panthers, falling 17-9. The Bruins have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Jordan Greene put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Angelo Magloire stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Bayshore: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Diego Falcon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Bayshore's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Bradenton Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
