Basketball Recap: Franklin Monroe Comes Up Short

Franklin Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 42-28 to the Kenton Ridge Cougars. While the Jets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 11-7 in the first quarter.

Franklin Monroe's record is now 5-15. As for Kenton Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Monroe will face off against Ansonia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenton Ridge, they will challenge Tecumseh at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
