Soccer Recap: Christ the King Takes a Loss

Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Lincoln Charter Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lincoln Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lincoln Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Christ the King will venture away from home to face off against Highland Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland Tech's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lincoln Charter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
