Basketball Recap: Carlos Mcbride's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jefferson County over Altha

Jefferson County lost against Altha back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jefferson County Tigers lost 61-36 to the Altha Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carlos McBride, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Keion Enzor, who earned seven points.

Jefferson County's record now sits at 2-7. As for Altha, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Jefferson County will challenge Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Altha, they will face off against Wewahitchka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wewahitchka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.
