Baseball Recap: Nashua North Comes Up Short

Nashua North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Dover Green Wave. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Mario Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season. Austin Suchecki was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Nashua North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dover, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nashua North is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dover will take on rival Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
