You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Southwest SD's strategy against San Ysidro on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Southwest SD Raiders blew the San Ysidro Cougars out of the water with a 72-33 final score. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 games by 20 points or more this season.

River Diaz was his usual excellent self, putting up 22 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalid Deiranieh, who posted 12 points.

Southwest SD is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.3 points. As for San Ysidro, they dropped their record down to 2-25 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
