Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory extended their postseason success on Saturday against Lebanon. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since September 13th.

Harper Krautkramer had an outrageously good game as she had 27 digs and five assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Lebanon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mya Nelson, who had 23 digs and two aces, and Mallory Short, who had 24 kills and 12 digs. Nelson has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

The win (which was Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's third in a row) raised their record to 14-15. As for Lebanon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Tri-West Hendricks on the 18th. Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
