Volleyball Recap: Nation Ford Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Clover

Nation Ford faced Clover in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Blue Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Blue Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

While Nation Ford was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-17.

Matthew Scott paced Nation Ford's offense, picking up 12 kills. Scott got some help from PJ Mazhari and his 23 assists.

Nation Ford's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Clover, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
