Football Game Preview: West Craven Eagles vs. T.W. Andrews Red Raiders

The West Craven Eagles will square off against the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Craven comes in on eight and T.W. Andrews on three.

West Craven is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over Roanoke Rapids. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

DJ Davis produced another solid performance throwing for 262 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 64 yards on only nine carries. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. West Craven's leading receiver Jeremiah Leigh was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, T.W. Andrews didn't have too much trouble with Clinton on Friday as they won 36-17. The Red Raiders pushed the score to 36-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dark Horses cut but never quite recovered from.

T.W. Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for West Craven, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
